How to Establish a Company in Turkey in 2022?

There is the provision “Compliance with the provisions of the legislation regarding foreigners regarding the establishment and operation of workplaces by foreign nationals” included in the clause (l) of the 5th article of the Regulation on Opening a Business and Working Licenses published in the Official Gazette dated 10.08.2005 and numbered 25902. Foreigners who will open a business must obtain a work permit from our Ministry before starting to work.

If foreigners want to open a workplace and work on their own name and account, they should apply to our Ministry for a work permit following the completion of the establishment procedures (such as the publication of the workplace in the trade registry or chamber of commerce registry gazette and obtaining a tax number) before the relevant authorities.

As a result of the evaluation to be made by our Ministry, the foreigners whose request is approved and work permit is granted must apply to the relevant municipalities together with these permit documents and request a business license and a work permit.

Establishing a business and issuing work permits; Our Ministry also grants temporary work permits to foreigners who are business owners or partners, and it is possible for the relevant municipalities to issue a business and work permit for these foreigners, taking into account the periods specified in the temporary work permit. In this context, our municipalities do not need to request an Independent Work Permit from foreigners with a temporary work permit.

The procedures and principles regarding the employment of Syrians under temporary protection in our country are regulated by the “Regulation on Work Permits of Foreigners Under Temporary Protection” published in the Official Gazette dated 15.01.2015 and numbered 29594. are required to take.

Foreigners working independently under temporary protection, provided that they have tax numbers, after the establishment of the workplace are completed, documents showing the activity of the workplace, such as the trade registry gazette for companies, the relevant chamber registry certificate for real person merchants, tradesmen and craftsmen, are scanned into the automation system during the application. must obtain a work permit before starting work.
